Operating Systems and Hypervisors in AMD Adaptive SoCs (Free Workshop / Taller práctico gratuito)

Introduction (in Spanish Below):
This seminar introduces software developers to the options and techniques for selecting and implementing various types of operating systems and hypervisors on AMD Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC and Versal devices.
During the presentation, we will explore the capabilities of the Application Processing Unit (APU) and the Real-Time Processing Unit (RPU) in relation to performance optimization and OS implementation. We will then review the catalog of operating system options, including hypervisors such as Xen, as well as Linux implementations like PetaLinux and Yocto.
Finally, we will discuss real-time alternatives such as FreeRTOS and describe the intercommunication between Linux and BareMetal environments using the OpenAMP framework.

Este seminario introduce a los desarrolladores de software en las opciones y técnicas para seleccionar e implementar distintos tipos de sistemas operativos e hipervisores en dispositivos AMD Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC y Versal.
Durante la presentación, exploraremos las capacidades de la Unidad de Procesamiento de Aplicaciones (APU) y de la Unidad de Procesamiento en Tiempo Real (RPU) en relación con la mejora del rendimiento y la implementación de sistemas operativos. A continuación, revisaremos el catálogo de opciones disponibles, incluyendo hipervisores como Xen y diversas implementaciones de Linux, como PetaLinux y Yocto.
Finalmente, abordaremos las alternativas en tiempo real, como FreeRTOS, y describiremos la intercomunicación entre los entornos Linux y BareMetal mediante el uso del framework OpenAMP
